In this second interdisciplinary chapter, a profound dialogue between illustration, ceramics, and the human body serves as the canvas for a shared narrative on “Love.” The artists explore a unique harmony – one achieved not through stillness, but through the resonance of diverse movements and the poetic beauty of imbalance.
This collaboration brings together a diverse collective of visionaries, bridging continents and disciplines. Nemoo (Dan), an Illustrator and Artist currently based in the United States, lends his evocative visual language to the project. From Ho Chi Minh City, we are joined by Heidi Nguyen, a Makeup Artist who views the skin as a canvas for poetic expression; Kate Tram Nguyen, a marketing professional turned ceramicist whose journey into clay brings a tactile, grounded soul to the series; and De Ara Hirosin, a Drag Artist who breathes life into the narrative through the transformative power of movement. Together, they weave a tapestry of perspectives that spans from the tangible earth of ceramics to the ethereal realm of performance.
Every soul navigates its own rhythmic path toward understanding the essence of ‘harmony.‘ Join DNNLY as we delve into this second interdisciplinary dialogue, where the raw earth of ceramics meets the fluid grace of the human form to reveal the profound resonance of love.

“I believe that while one can master many languages, the most profound expressions of love must always be spoken in one’s mother tongue. To me, a message of love doesn’t need to be grand or sweeping. Its power lies entirely in its sincerity: when something originates from a genuine heart, it effortlessly finds its way to the hearts of others.”
Like many illustrators, my journey began with a childhood love for drawing—a passion that naturally matured alongside me. My inspiration is born from the lingering resonance of a pleasant image or a fleeting experience. When a moment of comfort anchors itself in my mind, I feel a profound need to preserve it through my art.

“The world outside is teeming with wonder, but the most vital discovery of all is to find and cherish the wonder that resides within yourself.”
I have yet to claim the title of an artist. My roots lie in the corporate world of design marketing, specializing in interiors and décor. I initially turned to ceramics as a discipline: a way to refine my aesthetic vision and sharpen my “eye.” Yet, those very pieces, born from practice and observation, unexpectedly became the bridge that led me from the office desk to the gallery space.
My work centers on reimagining functional objects through a more ethereal lens. I am drawn to the challenge of breathing movement and fluidity into a medium as static as clay – finding beauty in the deliberate breaking of form.

“I hope you find enough stillness to listen to your intuition, enough devotion to nurture the imperfect, and enough freedom for your every action to be a vibrant resonance upon this world. Do not wait for the world to define beauty for you. Create with a carefree heart, for the process itself is the purest form of love.
I am Heidi, a servant of beauty and a soul tirelessly navigating the realms of freedom. I choose not to define myself through fixed titles. Instead, I am a tapestry of all that I love: the integrity of business, the stillness of philosophy, and the meticulous devotion of a craftsperson. I often find myself questioning: to renew the old is indeed beautiful, but is it truly free?
My search is for the beauty found in imperfection – in the traces of time and the lingering breath of humanity. I strive for the moment when we are no longer bound by predetermined palettes or rigid rules, leaving only a raw dialogue between intuition and reality.

—The Art Of Letting Go— (Drag Artist) De Ara Hirosin |

“Choosing not to give up, while remaining gentle with every outcome on my journey, is how I practice self-love. I believe the search for love follows the same path: just love. Let it lead where it may. If you encounter the wrong person, simply move forward with a bit more grace and caution next time.”
To me, “love” is the courage to speak one’s truth, the faith to believe in one’s craft, and the wisdom to occasionally surrender and simply drift with the tide. As a Drag Artist, my inspiration is a kaleidoscope: drawn from love, from life, or sometimes, from nothing at all. I believe we should simply exist as we are; if you have found your purpose, that is wonderful; if not, that is perfectly fine too. There is no need to rush.

Interdisciplinary Creation II transcends the boundaries of traditional form, evolving into a rhythmic meditation on the harmony found within imbalance. Through the evocative dialogue between Nemoo’s expressive illustrations, Kate Tram Nguyen’s fluid ceramic silhouettes, Heidi Nguyen’s intuitive artistry, and De Ara Hirosin’s transformative movements, we discover that “Love” is a resonance born from the interplay of different worlds. It is a reminder that beauty is not a static destination, but a living, breathing movement between the earth and the soul.
This second chapter stands as an inspiration for us all to embrace our own inner wonders, to find the poetry in our imperfections, and to speak our deepest truths in our most authentic tongue – a journey of self-discovery that is as grounded as clay and as free as a dance.
