About the collaborators
Giang Ho (Hồ Trường Giang), a freelance 3D artist from Hanoi, currently lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City. His works primarily explore the emotional connection between people and everyday means of transportation, as well as their significance in Vietnamese culture and life. The “love” in his work stems from the feeling of riding a Dream motorcycle on the streets of Hanoi at midday – the smooth engine sound, the rhythmic gear changes, the vibrations of the engine blending with the air, evoking strong emotions about the place where he was born and raised. His work, “DayDream,” presents a new perspective on the Dream motorcycle as a daydream. The motorcycle appears in transparent material, floating in the sky, suggesting a blend of reality and illusion. Through his work, he aims to spread a message about cherishing and appreciating even the smallest things in daily life, and to share that joy with everyone around him.

Duy, one of the independent artists from Vietnam, composes and pursues Pop/R&B/Dream Pop music. Participating in the "Don't Be Afraid to Say I Love You" project, I'm honored to be one of the individuals bringing everyone an artistic experience through audio recordings created by me and my team, as part of two upcoming works in the project. For me, telling stories through music and creating connections between people and the values we bring through music is what makes us feel so great; it's also the main motivation behind our passion on this path.
Single’s Artworks

The fast tempo, constantly changing rhythm, and a touch of street style are all part of the song. It’s like a flirtatious invitation from a “Hanoi street boy,” promising to pick you up on his Dream motorbike and take you to the city. Whether you see a “green flag” or a “red flag” in the screeching brakes during each chorus or the image of “I floor the gas pedal and speed off,” this song still brings you the burning energy of youth. Despite the fast tempo, Duy suggests you try slowing down and savoring the small moments, because they are often the big things that God has given you. In something easily overlooked like the engine vibration and gear shifting—the characteristic sound of a Dream motorbike—Giang Ho recalls his childhood memories in Hanoi, or in other words, he’s dreaming a daydream, as the title of the work suggests: DayDream.
