On the Meaning of Light and the Beauty of Withering (Love for Flower III)

In this project, we reflect on the meaning of light and the beauty of withering. Often, we look for brilliance in the bloom, but there is a distinct, sculptural aesthetic found only in decay. This installation by Keith La Fleur (founded by Vietnamese florist Kiet Tran) challenges us to find hope not in the morning sun, but in the depth of the night. It is a manifesto declaring that even as things fade, they hold a story worthy of reverence.

“Every flower is a life worthy of reverence.” This mantra has guided Anh Kiet on his journey to establish @keithlafleur.sg.

DNNLY invites you to step into an interdisciplinary dialogue between flora and the Áo dài. Within this installation, the @losilkvietnam Áo dài transcends mere attire; it merges with Anh Kiet’s floral works to form a harmonious artistic entity. It is an experiment in form and texture, bridging exquisite craftsmanship through a fresh visual lens.

Kiet Tran – A common soul with an uncommon devotion to the bloom.

His journey began with a love for flowers, rooted in the belief that every bloom is a life worthy of reverence.

The beauty of withering in Project A floral installation

Discovering the Beauty of Withering

He seeks to let flowers tell their most radiant stories before they fade. Yet, even in withering, they possess a beauty distinct and entirely their own.

Hold fast, for hope is most radiant when the world is at its darkest.

Only in the depth of the night do fireworks find their brilliance.
