“Floating” in a small garden, “Floating” is a light gently stretched between two wooden frames. Without a declaration or an imposed message, the artwork simply exists as a state of being: floating, still, fragile. During the day, it is present as a familiar part of the garden, clear but not inviting attention. But as evening falls, the light gradually takes shape, becoming a gentle highlight in the garden.
Each person who sees it will take away a different feeling: it could be sacred, it could be relief, or it could simply be curiosity. Visitors are invited to participate in that moment: adding branches and leaves inside the luminous mass, creating layers of shadows and light that change over time.
“Floating” is constructed almost entirely from materials readily available in the garden. Material restraint goes hand in hand with an expansion of experience. It is not a permanent structure; it exists until it naturally disintegrates with time—as a quiet tribute to the land, to the garden, to the ephemeral moments of existence. This pavilion does not aim to occupy space, but simply to be present.
