From Vietnam With Love

Dear friend,

In the flow of today’s art and design world, Vietnam is slowly gaining more attention internationally. However, there’s still a lack of creative works that truly reflect Vietnamese culture in a way that feels fresh and relevant to our times. That’s why the project “Đừng Ngại Nói Lời Yêu” (Don’t Be Afraid to Say Love – DNNLY) was born at a time when the local creative scene is full of energy, but still missing cultural products that carry deep meaning. At the same time, the world is opening up big opportunities for Vietnam to speak up and be seen, while also facing serious issues around society, the environment, and ecology, things that no creative person can ignore.

This project aims to become a cultural and artistic voice from Vietnam, and a bridge connecting Vietnam with the world. At its heart is the belief that when we create together and contribute with intention, we can help build a better future. Because we believe creativity is not just for show, and it can open up conversations and spark ideas that make real change.

The project brings together brands, designers, and creators from many different fields in Vietnam who are shaping a new, modern image of the country. Their work includes fashion, art, architecture, and more, all shown through the lens of the Áo Dài in dialogue with other disciplines like landscape design, sculpture, graphics, performance, interior design, and sociology. Through this, we hope to paint a rich, living picture of Vietnam today, one that carries the spirit of Hope –  Peace – Love, and shares those universal values with people everywhere.

Warmly,

Chiron Duong

(Founder DNNLY Vietnam)
